ἰνδάλματα εἰκασμένα κυσὶν ἔκ τινος θείας ὁρμῆς τοῦτον ἐπιπηδήσαντα, οἰκτρῶς, ὅσα ἰδεῖν, διέξυεν. ἦν δὲ ἄρα εἴδωλα ταῦτα, ὧνπερ οὐ μετὰ μακρὸν ἔμελλε πείσεσθαι ὁ δυστυχὴς νεκρὸς ἐκείνου.
