Φρύγιοι καὶ ταῦτα ᾅδουσι λόγοι. Μίδου τοῦ Φρυγὸς ἔτι νηπίου καθεύδοντος μύρμηκας ἐσέρπειν ἐς τὸ στόμα, καὶ πάνυ φιλοπόνως καὶ φιλέργως ἐσφέρειν τοὺς πυρούς. Πλάτωνος δὲ μελίττας ἐς τὸ στόμα κηρίον ἐργάζεσθαι. καὶ Πινδάρῳ τῆς πατρῴας οἰκίας ἐκτεθέντι μέλιτται τροφοὶ ἐγένοντο, ὑπὲρ τοῦ γάλακτος παρατιθεῖσαι μέλι.
