Ἐρασθῆναι πρῶτον γενναίων παιδικῶν λέγουσι Λάιον, ἁρπάσαντα Χρύσιππον τὸν Πέλοπος. καὶ ἐκ τούτου τοῖς Θηβαίοις ἓν τῶν καλῶν ἐδόκει τὸ τῶν ὡραίων ἐρᾶν.
