τῆς τρυγόνος τῆς θαλαττίας τὸ κέντρον ἐστὶν ἀπρόσμαχον. ἐκέντησε γὰρ καὶ ἀπέκτεινε παραχρῆμα, καὶ πεφρίκασιν αὐτῆς τόδε τὸ ὅπλον καὶ οἱ τῶν ἁλιέων δεινοὶ τὰ θαλάττια· οὔτε γὰρ ἄλλος ἰάσεται τὸ τραῦμα οὔτε ἡ τρώσασα· μόνῃ γάρ, ὡς τὸ εἰκός, τῇ Πηλιώτιδι μελίῃ τοῦτο ἐδέδοτο.
