ἁλίᾳ τῇ Συβάρεως παριούσῃ ἐς ἄλσος Ἀρτέμιδος ʽἦν δὲ ἐν Φρυγίᾳ τὸ ἄλσοσʼ δράκων ἐπεφάνη θεῖος, μέγιστος τὴν ὄψιν, καὶ ὡμίλησεν αὐτῇ. καὶ ἐντεῦθεν οἱ καλούμενοι Ὀφιογενεῖς τῆς σπορᾶς τῆς πρώτης ὑπῆρξαν.
