ἐχῖνος, οὐχ ὁ θαλάσσιος, ἀλλʼ ὁ χερσαῖος, πολλὰ μὲν καὶ ἄλλα ὥς ἐστι πανοῦργος ἤδη μοι λέλεκται, ὃ δὲ οὐκ εἶπον αὐτοῦ δολερὸν ἔργον, τοῦτο εἰρήσεται τὰ νῦν. μέλλων ἁλίσκεσθαι ἑαυτὸν συνειλήσας ἄληπτον ἐργάζεται, εἶτα μέντοι καὶ πιέζει τὸ πνεῦμα καὶ ἀκίνητος ἀτρεμεῖ καὶ τὸν τεθνεῶτα ὑποκρίνεται.
