σκολόπενδρα θαλάττιον θηρίον, καὶ τῷ χερσαίῳ ὅσα ἰδεῖν ὁμοιότατόν ἐστιν· εἰ δὲ αὐτῆς προσάψαιτο ἀνθρωπεία σάρξ, ὀδαξᾶταί τε παραχρῆμα καὶ κνησιᾷ, καὶ πάσχει τοιαῦτα, ὁποῖα καὶ ὑπὸ τῆς βοτάνης, ἣν καλοῦσι κνίδην. ποιοῦσι δὲ καὶ ἀκαλῆφαι κνησμονήν, ἀλλὰ οὔπω τοσοῦτον. εἰσὶ δὲ ἐδώδιμοι μᾶλλον διελθούσης ἰσημερίας αἱ ἀκαλῆφαι.
