ὁ παρείας ἢ παρούας ʽοὕτω γὰρ Ἀπολλόδωρος ἐθέλεἰ πυρρὸς τὴν χρόαν, εὐωπὸς τὸ ὄμμα, πλατὺς τὸ στόμα, δακεῖν οὐ σφαλερός, ἀλλὰ πρᾶος. ἔνθεν τοι καὶ τῷ θεῶν φιλανθρωποτάτῳ ἱερὸν ἀνῆκαν αὐτόν, καὶ ἐπεφήμισαν Ἀσκληπιοῦ θεράποντα εἶναι οἱ πρῶτοι ταῦτα ἀνιχνεύσαντες.
