Τὰ εἰϲ ων ἐθνικὰ ὀξύτονα τρέπει τὸ ω εἰϲ ο ἐν τῇ γενικῇ οἷον Αϲών Αὐϲόνοϲ, Μυγδών Μυγδόνοϲ, Ϲιδών Ϲιδόνοϲ «ἐπεὶ Ϲιδόνεϲ πολυδαίδαλοι εὖ ἤϲκηϲαν» (ψ 743), Μυρμιδών Μυρμιδόνοϲ, Μακεδῶν Μακεδόνοϲ.
