Τὰ εἰϲ ωρ μονοϲύλλαβα φυλάττει τὸ ω ἐν τῇ γενικῇ οἶον φώρ φωρόϲ. εἰϲ ωβ θηλυκὸν οὐκ ἔχομεν πλὴν τοῦ ὦρ, ἀφ᾿ οὖ τὸ «ἀμυνέμεναι ὤρεϲϲιν» (Ε 486). ἀπὸ γὰρ τοῦ ὄαρ ἐγένετο κατὰ κρᾶϲιν τοῦ ο καὶ ᾱ εἰϲ ω ὦρ ὥϲπερ κρείττονα κρείττω.
