160. E. Or. 61, 24: ἐρινεόϲ ϲημαίνει τὴν ἀγρίαν ϲυκῆν. ἀπὸ τοῦ ἐρίζω γίνεται ἐρινόϲ καὶ κατὰ πλεοναϲμὸν τοῦ ε ἐρινεόϲ παρὰ τὸ ἐριϲτικὸν εἶναι τὸ δένδρον. ἀνέρχεται γὰρ εἰϲ τοίχουϲ καὶ εἰϲ ἕκαϲτον τόπον ἔν τε πέτραιϲ καὶ ὕδαϲιν. οὕτωϲ Ἡρωδιανὸϲ καὶ Εὐδαίμων.
