280. Choer. Dict. 98, 16: οἱ Αἰολεῖϲ τὸ τάλαϲ τάλαιϲ λέγουϲι καὶ τὸ μέλαϲ μέλαιϲ καὶ τὸ Θόαϲ Θόαιϲ προϲτιθέντεϲ τὸ ι, τὸ δὲ Αἶαϲ Αἴαιϲ οὐ λέγουϲι διὰ τὴν ἐπαλληλίαν τῆϲ αι διφθόγγου· ηὑρίϲκετο γὰρ ἀλλεπάλληλοϲ ἡ αι δίφθογγοϲ καὶ ἐκ τούτου κακόφωνοϲ ἐγένετο ἡ λέξιϲ.
