Choer. 698. 30: οἱ Ἴωνεϲ ψιλωτικοί εἰϲι, τοῦ γὰρ ἥλιοϲ δαϲυνομένου τὸ ἀπηλιώτηϲ Ἰωνικῶϲ διὰ τοῦ π ἐπεκράτηϲεν, ἐπειδὴ διὰ τοῦ φ ὤφειλεν εἶναι διὰ τὸ ἐπιφέρεϲθαι δαϲὺ φωνῆεν ὥϲπερ ἐπὶ ἡμῶν ἐφ᾿ ἡμῶν πάλιν τοῦ ἱϲτίον δαϲυνομένου τὸ ἐπίϲτιον Ἰωνικῶϲ διὰ τοῦ π ἐπεκράτηϲεν οἶον «ἐπίϲτιόν ἐϲτιν ἑκάϲτῳ» (ζ 265), ἐπειδὴ διὰ τοῦ φ ὤφειλεν εἶναι. καὶ πάλιν τὸ οὐχὶ Ἰωνικῶϲ οὐκί λέγεται ὡϲ παρὰ τῷ ποιητῇ «ἠὲ καὶ οὐκί».
