Ἕλοϲ πόλιϲ Αακωνική. οἱ πολῖται Εἵλωτεϲ. τῇ ἐκτάϲει καὶ τῷ γένει καὶ τῇ προϲθέϲει τοῦ ι διαφέρει. λέγονται καὶ Εἱλῶται καὶ Ἕλειοι καὶ Ἑλεῖται.
