Ἡρῴδηϲ ἔχει τὸ ι προϲγεγραμμένον. ἔϲτι γὰρ ἥρωϲ ἥρωοϲ ἥρωϊ· καὶ γίνεται Ἡρωΐδηϲ καὶ κατὰ ϲυναίρεϲιν τοῦ ω καὶ ι εἰϲ τὴν ῳ δίφθογγον Ἡρῴδηϲ καὶ ἄλλωϲ· τὰ εἰϲ δηϲ πατρωνυμικὰ ἢ τύπου πατρωνυμικοῦ θέλει ἔχειν πρὸ τοῦ δ ἢ τὸ ι τὸ α οἷον Πηλείδηϲ, Πυλάδηϲ, Μινῴδηϲ.
