ὡς δὲ οἴκαδε εἶσέρχομαι, καταλαμβάνω τὸν Κίμωνα, καὶ οἷα ἥν εἶκὸς ἐργάζομαι, καλῶν ἀνόσιον καὶ διʼ αὐτὸν ἀπολωλέναι λέγων ἡμᾶς. ὁ δὲ οὐδὲν διʼ αὐτὸ ἔδεισεν, οὐδὲ ᾐσχύνθη τοῖς πεπραγμένοις, ἀλλὰ μύθους ἐπεβάλλετο λέγειν μακρούς, τοὺς ἁπανταχόθι τροχῶν ἄξια εἰργασμένους καταριθμούμενος.
