72. Ὅτι παρὰ τοῖς Τρωγλοδύταις ἐστὶν καὶ ἡ λεγομένη παῤ Ἕλλησι καμηλοπάρδαλις, σύνθετον τρόπον τινὰ κατὰ τὴν κλῆσιν καὶ τὴν φύσιν λαχοῦσα. Τὴν μὲν γὰρ ποικιλίαν ἔχει παρδάλεως, τὸ μέγεθος δὲ καμήλου, τὸ πάχος δὲ ὑπερφυές, τὸν δὲ αὐχένα τοιοῦτον ὥστε ἀπʼ ἄκρων ἀμέλγεσθαι τῶν δένδρων τὴν τροφήν.
