73. (IX, 665.) Εἶξον ἐμοὶ Δάφνης ἱερὸν κλέτας, ἔκτοθι πόντου κείμενον, ἀγραύλου κάλλος ἐρημοσύνης. ἐνθάδε γὰρ Νύμφαι δενδρίτιδες, αἵ τ’ ἐνὶ πόντῳ Νηρείδες ξυνὴν θέντο συνηλυσίην. ἀμφ’ ἐμὲ γὰρ μάρναντο· δίκασσε δὲ Κυανοχαίτης, καί με παρ’ ἀμφοτέραις μέσσον ἔθηκεν ὅρον.
