Ῥεῖθρα Κασουλίνου ποταμοῦ βεβυρημένα
Δέξατο Τυρσηνῆς ἠιόνος κροκάλη,
Ἡνίκα Φραγγικὰ φῦλα κατέκτανεν Αὐσονὶς αἰχυὴ,
Ὁππόσα δειλαίῳ πείθετο Βουτιλίνῳ·
Ὄλβιστον τόδε χεῦμα, καὶ ἔσσεται ἀντὶ τροπαίου
Αἵματι βαρβαρικῷ δηρὸν ἐρευθόμενον.
