τῶν τις δὲ μεθ' Ὅμηρον τὸ μὲν
μῆλον δωρίσας εἰς μᾶλον τὴν δὲ ὄψιν εἰς εἶδος μεταλαβὼν
καὶ μεταθεὶς τὰς λέξεις, Ἀλκαῖος δὲ ἦν ἐκεῖνος ὁ κωμι-
κός, εἰδομαλίδην ἔφη σκωπτικῶς τινα διὰ τὸ καλλωπί-
ζεσθαι τὰ μῆλα τῆς ὄψεως, ἐρευθόμενον δηλαδὴ κομικώ-
τερον.
