ὅταν μὲν οὖν ἐκ τοῦ σώματος τοῦ κραθέντος πῦρ γένηται ἤ τι τοιοῦτον ἐκ τῆς μίξεως, ὡς καὶ ὄργανον δύνασθαι τῷ νῷ τούτῳ παρασχεῖν, ὅς ἐστιν ἐν τῷ μίγματι τούτῳ (διότι ἐστὶν ἐν παντὶ σώματι, σῶμα δὲ καὶ τοῦτο), τοῦτο τὸ ὄργανον δυνάμει νοῦς λέγεται ἐπιτήδειός τις δύναμις ἐπὶ τῇ τοιᾷδε κράσει τῶν σωμάτων γινομένη πρὸς τὸ δέξασθαι τὸν ἐνεργείᾳ νοῦν.
