ἢ οὐκ ἀλλάσσει τόπον τὸ τῷ νοεῖσθαι ἔν τινι γινόμενον. οὐδὲ γὰρ τὰ τῶν αἰσθητῶν εἴδη, ἐπειδὰν αὐτῶν αἰσθώμεθα, ἐν τοῖς αἰσθητηρίοις ὡς τόποις αὐτῶν γίνεται. χωριστὸς δὲ λέγεται ὁ θύραθεν νοῦς καὶ χωρίζεται ἡμῶν, οὐχ ὡς μετιών που καὶ ἀμείβων τόπον, ἀλλὰ χωριστὸς μὲν ὡς καθ᾿ αὑτόν τε ὢν καὶ μὴ σὺν ὕλῃ, χωριζόμενος δὲ ἡμῶν τῷ μὴ νοεῖσθαι, οὐ τῷ μετέρχεσθαι. οὕτως γὰρ ἐγίνετο καὶ ἐν ἡμῖν.
