χρήσιμος δὲ ἡ τούτου δεῖξις μάλιστα πρὸς ἀπόδειξιν τοῦ ὅτι οὐκ εἰσὶν αἱ ψυχικαὶ διαφοραί, περὶ ἃ τῇ ψυχῇ ἡ ἐνέργεια, ἀλλ᾿ ὅτι αὐταὶ αἱ δυνάμεις τῆς ψυχῆς διαφέρουσιν ἀλλήλων, καὶ οὐχ οἷόν τε τῇ αὐτῇ δυνάμει, οἷον τῇ αἰσθητικῇ νοῆσαι ἢ τῇ νοητικῇ αἰσθάνεσθαι.
