Φανερὸν δὲ καὶ ὅτι πρὸς τὸ ἀναλύειν ἄλληλα τὰ σχήματα ἡ πρὸς τῷ ἐλάττονι ἄκρῳ πρότασις ἀντέστραπται. Εἰς ἄλληλα λέγει νῦν ἐπὶ τοῦ πρώτου καὶ τοῦ τρίτου· καὶ γὰρ οἱ ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ εἰς τοὺς ἐν τρίτῳ καὶ οἱ ἐν τῷ τρίτῳ εἰς τοὺς ἐν πρώτῳ διὰ τῆς ἐλάττονος καταφατικῆς οὔσης ἀντιστρεφομένης γίνονται. οὐκ εἶχε δὲ οὕτως ἐπὶ τοῦ πρώτου καὶ δευτέρου· οἱ γὰρ ἐν ἐκείνοις εἰς ἀλλήλους ἀνήγοντο τῆς μείζονος ἀντιστρεφομένης τῆς καθόλου ἀποφατικῆς.
