Ταῦτ᾽ ἄρα καὶ πυρέττειν μέν φαμεν τὰ μόρια, καὶ θερμαίνεσθαί τε καὶ τεθερμάσθαι· τὸ γὰρ πυρέττον ἅπαν ἢ θερμαίνεται, ἢ τεθέρμασται· οὐχ ἅπαν δὲ τὸ θερμαινόμενον ἢ καὶ τεθερμασμένον πυρέσσει τοῦτο τὸ μόριον, ὅτῳ χυμὸς ἢ πνεῦμα πυρετῶν αἴτια, αἴτιά γε μὴν ὡς
