Καλῶς δὲ τῷ ὅρῳ πρόσκειται καὶ τί, προϊοῦσα δ᾽ ἐκ ταύτης δι᾽ ἀρτηριῶν καὶ φλεβῶν ἐφ᾽ ἅπαν τὸ σῶμα. Δύναται μὲν γὰρ τὰ παρὰ φύσιν θερμανθέντα μόρια τῇ ἁφῇ τὰ πλησιέστερα τῶν μορίων θερμᾶναι, καὶ ταῦτα ἄλλα, κἀκεῖνα ἕτερα.
