739. τά τε στυγέουσι. ἄνωθεν τοῦ βορείου πόλου τοὺς ἀστέρας εἶναι, τοὺς μηδέποτε κατὰ8) τὸ ὑποκάτω ἡμισφαίριον δύοντας, φησίν, ἐπεὶ καὶ κατὰ τὸ ὑπὸ γῆν ἡμισφαίριον εἰκὸς φαίνειν ἀστέρας, ἀλλʼ οὐ τοιούτους, ἔνθεν ἐστήρικται ὁ ἄξων.
