Ὅταν δὲ τὸ παιδίον τελείως διαρθρωθῇ, τότε δὴ τῶν μελέων αὐξανομένων αὐτῷ, διαζωοῦται καὶ ἀνατομοῦται καὶ τὰ ὀστέα σκληροῦνται καὶ κοιλαίνονται ὑπὸ τῆς θέρμης πηγνύμενα, καὶ ταῦτα μὲν ὑπὸ τοῦ πνεύματος γίνεται καὶ κοιλαίνεται.
