Ὅτι Σόλων μετὰ τὴν τοῦ Κροίσου ἐρώτησιν ἐν Κιλικίᾳ γεγονὼς Σόλους πόλιν ᾤκισεν, ἐν ᾗ καί τινας τῶν Ἀθηναίων κατῴκισεν, οἳ χρόνῳ βαρβαρωθέντες ἐλέγοντο σολοικίζειν, ἀφ᾿ οὗ καὶ σολοικισμός.
