34. Ταύτης δὲ τῆς θαλάσσης ὑπέρκειται ἡ λοιπὴ ἡ παρὰ τὴν ἤπειρον· καὶ ἔστι μὲν αὐτῆς μέγιστον μὲν Ἰνδικὸν πέλαγος, ἐν ᾧ χερρόνησοι καὶ κόλποι πάνυ μεγάλοι, ὅ τε Θηριώδης καὶ ὁ Μέγας καὶ ὁ Γαγγητικός.
