565—569. Ἐπὶ δὲ τὰ βόρεια μέρη τοῦ ὠκεανοῦ ἄλλαι δύο νῆσοί εἰσι Βρετανικαὶ ἐξ ἐναντίας τοῦ Ῥήνου ποταμοῦ· ἐκεῖσε γὰρ ὁ Ῥῆνος τὴν ἐσχάτην αὐτοῦ συστροφήν τῶν ὑδάτων εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν ἀπερεύγεται. Τούτων δὲ τῶν νήσων τὸ μέγεθος ἄπειρον, καὶ οὐδεμία ἄλλη ἐν πάσαις ταῖς νήσοις τῷ μεγέθει ἐξισάζεται ταῖς Βρεταννικαῖς.
