Λοξὸν ἐπὶ γραμῇσι] Λοξὸν ἐν ταῖς γραμμαῖς, ἀντὶ τοῦ τὴν πλευρὰν τὴν μεταξὺ τῶν δύο ἄκρων ἀπολαμβανομένην λοξὴν ἔχουσα, τουτέστι τὰ ἀπὸ Γαδείρων μέχρι τοῦ Νείλου. Λοξὸν δὲ διὰ τὸ κατὰ πολλὰ μέρη οἷον κολποῦσθαι καὶ κυρτοειδῆ φαίνεσθαι καὶ περιάγνυσθαι τῷ σχήματι.
