Αὐτοίτι Θρήϊκις ἀπείρονα] Ἄρχονται μὲν ἀπὸ Μακεδονίας ὁμοῦ καὶ Παιονίας, καὶ παρατείνουσιν ἄχρι Σκυθίας, οἰκοῦσι δὲ τὰ μὲν ἥμερα Μακεδόνες, τὰ δὲ τραχέα Σκύθαι. Ἐπιφανῆ δὲ ἔθνη εἰσὶ Σίθωνες, Τριβαλλοὶ, Βίστονες καὶ τὰ ὅμοια. Εἰσὶ δὲ καὶ τῆς Ἀσίας Θρᾷκες οἱ Βιθυνοί.
