Σαρδώ] ἀπὸ Σαρδόνος, ῦἱοῦ Ἡρακλέους. ᾨκίσθη δὲ ὑπὸ τῶν Ἰδήρων, εἶθ᾿ ὑπὸ τῶν Ἡρακλειδῶν, εἶθ᾿ ὑπὸ Καρχηδονίων. Ἴχνουσα δὲ ὠνομάζετο, ἐπεὶ ἴχνει ἀνθρώπου ὁμοία ἦν. Ἡρακλῆς δὲ ἐκεῖσε μετῴκισε τοὺς Θεσπιάδας, καὶ λεὼν ἀθροίσας, Καδμείους, Αἰτωλοὺς, Λοκρούς.
