Ὁ δὲ θαυμαστὸς Ἀπίων διὰ μὲν ἒξ ἡμερῶν αὐτοὺς ἐλθεῖν εἰς τὴν Ἰουδαίαν προείρηκεν· πάλιν δὲ τὸν Μωϋσῆν εἰς τὸ μεταξὺ τῆς Αἰγύπτου καὶ τῆς Ἀραβίας ὄρος, ὂ καλεῖται Σίναιον, ἀναβάντα φησὶν ἠμέραις τεσσαράκοντα κρυφθῆναι, κἀκεῖθεν κατιβάντα δοῦναι τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις τοὺς νόμους.
