ΙΕΡΕΙΑ.
Καινόν γέ φασι Χαιρεφῶντ' ἐν τοῖς γάμοις
ὡς τὸν Ὀφέλαν ἄκλητον εἰσδεδυκέναι.
σπυρίδα λαβὼν γὰρ καὶ στέφανον, ὡς ἦν σκότος,
φάσκων παρὰ τῆς νύμφης ὁ τὰς ὄρνεις φέρων
ἥκειν, δεδείπνηχ', ὡς ἔοικεν, εἰσπεσών.
