ἤδη γάρ ποτ' ὄπωπα καρήατα πολλὰ μὲν αὔτως
μεσσατίης κορυφῆς μούνῃ συνεερμένα ῥάμμῃ,
πολλαὶ δ' ἀρραφέες κεφαλαὶ πάγεν ἀνθρώποισιν.
