Plutarchus ὅτι μάλιστα τοῖς ἡγεμόσι δεῖ τὸν φιλόσοφον διαλέγεσθαι 1 p. 776c. καὶ Ἀρίστων μὲν ὁ Χῖος ἐπὶ τῷ πᾶσι διάλέγεσθαι τοῖς βουλομένοις ὑπὸ τῶν σοφιστῶν κακῶς ἀκούων· ὤφελεν, εἶπε, καὶ τὰ θηρία λόγων συνιέναι κινητικῶν πρὸς ἀρετήν.
