SUDA s.v. Ἀριστόνικος Ἀλεξανδρεύς· γραμματικός. ἔγραψε Περὶ τῶν σημείων τῶν ἐν τῆι Θεογονίαι Ἡσιόδου καὶ τῶν τῆς Ἰλιάδος καὶ Ὀδυσσείας· Ἀσυντάκτων ὀνομάτων βιβλία ϛ. STRABON 1, 2, 31: Ἀριστόνικος ... ὁ καθ' ἡμᾶς γραμματικὸς ἐν τοῖς Περὶ τῆς Μενελάου πλάνης. PHOT. Bibl. 161 p. 104 b 37: ὁ δὲ δωδέκατος αὐτῶι (scil. Σωπάτρωι) λόγος συνήθροισται ἐξ ἄλλων τε διαφόρων καὶ ἐκ τῆς Καλλιξένου Ζωγράφων τε καὶ ἀνδριαντοποιῶν ἀναγραφῆς (627 T 1) καὶ ἐκ τῶν Ἀριστονίκου Περὶ τοῦ ἐν Ἀλεξανδρείαι Μουσείου καὶ ἐκ τῶν Ἀριστοτέλους Πολιτειῶν (IV).
