189. κέκλυτέ μευ μύθων κακά περ πάσχοντες ἑταῖροι. Versum 189 Callistratus a grammatico quodam, qui nullam illius Homeri consuetudinis ἀπὸ τοῦ γὰρ ἄρχεσθαι cognitionem habuerit, insertum esse dicit cf. in H. Καλλίστρατός φησιν ὡς ὑπό τινος ὁ στίχος προτέτακται ἀγνοοῦντος τὸ Ὁμηρικὸν ἔθος, ὡς θέλει ἄρχεσθαι ἀπὸ τοῦ γάρ. Aristarchus versum non legisse videtur, nam Ρ 220 diplam posuit propter hunc Homeri usum et citavit v. 190 ob eandem causam.
