230. Τηλέμαχε, ποῖόν σε ἔπος φύγεν ἕρκος ὀδόντων; ῥεῖα θεός γ’ ἐθέλων καὶ τηλόθεν ἄνδρα σαώσαι. Fuit diple periestigmene, quod Zenodotus v. 230 mutavit propter metrum et sequentem expunxit cf. HM: οὗτος ὁ στίχος λαγαρός ἐστι. διὸ Ζηνόδοτος ἴσως μετέγραφε Τηλέμαχ’ ὑψαγόρη μέγα νήπιε, ποῖον ἔειπες; τὸν δὲ δεύτερον περιήγει τελέως διὰ τὸ μαχόμενον αὐτῷ εἰ μὴ θεοὶ ὣς ἐθέλοιεν. (228). cf. Eust. 1464, 62 qui quid sit στίχος λαγαρός explanat. *) 231. σημείωσαι τὸν στίχον, ὅτι καὶ ἀνωτέρω οὐ περὶ Τηλεμάχου, ἀλλὰ περὶ Ὀδυσσέως εἴρηται, τίς δ’ οἶδ’ εἴ κέ ποτέ σφι βίας ἀποτίσεται ἐλθών; (216) HMQ.
