281. εἴσατο δ’ ὡς ὅτε ῥίνὸν ἐν ἠεροειδέϊ πόντῳ. Fuit interpretatio vocabuli ῥινόν, pro quo scholiastae in PQT Aristarchum legisse ἐρινόν dicunt: ὁ Ἀρίσταρχος ἐρινὸν αὐτὴν τὴν συκῆν κατὰ μεταβολὴν γένους, ὡς ὁ δίφρος τὸ δίφρον. Sed huic lectioni ἐρινόν repugnat Aristonicus, qui Θ 532: εἴσατο δ’ ὡς ὅτε ῥινεός, Μ 118 et Ν 45 autem ῥινόν legit. Iam vides etiam in Venet. A variam fuisse lectionem. Eust. 1536, 13 habet: Ἀρίσταρχος δὲ ἐρινὸν γράφει αὐτὴν τὴν συκῆν, ἵνα φαίνηται τηλόθεν ἡ νῆσος, ὡσεὶ καὶ τοιαύτη τις συκῆ. εἴσατο. Ar. notavit Θ 552, Μ 118, Ν 45 ὅτι πολλὰ σημαίνει et nostro loco quidem ἀντὶ τοῦ ἐφάνη. Similia habent schol. EPQT.
