344. καθ’ Ἑλλάδα καὶ μέσον Ἄργος. †) Ἑλλάδα τὴν Θεσσαλίαν φησί EM. cf. L. Ar. 227. Ι 395. δ 726. Frustula sunt notae Aristarchi, qui versum pro spurio habuit, quod Ἑλλὰς non Thessaliam, sed totam Graeciam significare hoc loco videtur. Hanc ob caussam δ 726 expunctum est, haud dubie etiam δ 816, ubi idem legitur.
