489. υἱέος Ὀρσιλόχοιο, τὸν Ἀλφειὸς τέκε παῖδα. In HMQR notatum est, Zenodotum pro Ὀρσίλοχον hic et Ε 549 Ὀρτίλοχον scripsisse, commotum hoc versu. In Il. scholiis huius lectionis nullum est vestigium, nisi quod LV ad Ε 542 habent: ὁ πρόγονος διὰ τοῦ τ, ὁ παῖς διὰ τοῦ σ καὶ ἐν Ὀδυσσείᾳ οὖν (φ 16). Ὀρτιλόχοιο habent ABDEGH 1. m. LMQS Strabo VIII, p. 367; Tzetzes Alleg. 135: Ὀρσιλόχοιο H. ex em. IN cf. La Roche.
