475-80. ἀλλ’ εἴ που πτωχῶν γε θεοὶ καὶ ἐρινύες εἰσίν, Ἀντίνοον πρὸ γάμοιο τέλος θανάτοιο κιχείη. τὸν δ’ αὖτ’ Ἀντίνοος προσέφη, Εὐπείθεος υἱός· ἔσθι’ ἕκηλος ξεῖνε καθήμενος, ἢ ἄπιθ’ ἄλλῃ, μή σε νέοι διὰ δῶμα ἐρύσσωσ’, οἷ’ ἀγορεύεις, ἢ ποδὸς ἢ καὶ χειρός, ἀποδρύψωσι δὲ πάντα. †) νοθεύονται ϛ′. πῶς γὰρ ὁ Ἀντίνοος ἐκαρτέρησεν ἐπὶ ταῖς κατάραις, ὃς ἐπὶ τοῖς ἐλλάσσοσιν οὕτως ἠγρίανε; πῶς τε συναλγοῦσιν αὐτῷ οἱ λοιποί, εἰ τοιοῦτος ὢν οὕτω κατηρᾶτο πικρῶς; HQ.
