Diog. L. X 13: κέχρηται δὲ (Ἐπίκουρος) λέξει κυρίᾳ κατὰ τῶν πραγμάτων, ἣν ὅτι ἰδιωτική ἐστιν, Ἀριστοφάνης ὁ γραμματικὸς αἰτιᾶται. σαφὴς δ' ἦν οὕτως ὡς καὶ ἐν τοῖς περὶ τῆς ῥητορικῆς μηδὲν ἄλλο ἢ σαφήνειαν ἀπαιτεῖν.
