(118) Πύρρῳ τῷ Ἠπειρώτῃ ἦν ἐλέφας, ὅσπερ οὖν τὸν ἑαυτοῦ πωλευτὴν οὕτως ἠγάπησεν, ὡς ἀποθανόντος ἐν Ἄργει τοῦ Πύρρου, ἐκπεσόντος δὲ τοῦ ἐλαύνοντος, οὐ πρότερον ὑπέμεινεν ἀτρεμῆσαι καὶ ἡσυχάσαι πρὶν ἢ ἀνασώσασθαι τοῦτον αὐτὸν ἐκ τῶν πολεμίων καὶ ἐς τὸ φίλιον μεταγαγεῖν.
