(497) ἐν μέντοι Λιβύῃ συῶν ἀγρίων καὶ ἐλάφων ἀπορία ἐστί. (498) φασὶ δὲ καὶ τὸ τοῦ ἐλάφου κέρας θυμιώμενον τοὺς ὄφεις διώκειν. (499) ἔχει δὲ καὶ ὀστοῦν ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτῆς ἡ ἔλαφος.
