(64) ὃ δὲ προίεται ἡ γυνὴ μετὰ τῆς μίξεως καὶ ἡδονῆς ὑγρόν, ὅ τινες σπέρμα ὑπέλαβον εἶναι, ἂχρηστόν ἐστιν· οὐ γάρ ἐστι σπέρμα ἀλλ’ ἴδιόν τι ὑγρὸν συμβεβηκὸς τοῖς τόποις. ἐν δὲ τοῖς καταμηνίοις αὐτοῖς ἐστι, ὡς προεῖπον, ἀπέπτου σπέρματος φύσις· διόπερ ὅσαις οὐ γίνεται τὸ ὅλον τὰ καταμήνια ἢ γενόμενα ἐσβέσθη, οὐκέτι συλλαμβάνουσιν, ἅ τε τοῦ ἄρρενος τὴν ὕλην ἐν γονεύσει μὴ ἔχοντος.
