νῦν ἄρʼ ἄξιόν γε πᾶσίν ἐστιν ἐπολολύξαι.
ὦ καλὰ λέγων πολὺ δʼ ἀμείνονʼ ἔτι τῶν λόγων
ἐργασάμενʼ, εἴθʼ ἐπέλθοις
ἅπαντά μοι σαφῶς·
ὡς ἐγώ μοι δοκῶ
κἂν μακρὰν ὁδὸν διελθεῖν
ὥστʼ ἀκοῦσαι. πρὸς τάδʼ ὦ βέλτιστε
θαρρήσας λέγʼ, ὡς, ἅπαντες
ἡδόμεσθά σοι.
